NSW has won the final of the CLT20 after some excellent bowling and fielding dismissed Trinidad & Tobago for 118 in the 16th over. Pollard again looked the danger man but was well caught in the outer off Hauritz. Pretty good recovery, especially considering the Blues were looking like struggling to make 100 before Brett Lee came out after the 5th wicket and played a wonderful cameo role to post a defensible score.

T&T’s run chase never really hit it’s stride; they lost wickets quite regularly throughout the innings and, as they got farther behind the run rate required, had to resort to big hitting to retain any hope of winning.

Tremendous tournament for NSW, certainly well deserved win in the end. Good on you boys!
