I’ve been sick as a dog lately, so haven’t been updating but figured I’d write a bit on the Gold Coast who (as they kept telling us all pre-season) have turned out to be the real deal. I’m part impressed and part annoyed. Maybe two parts annoyed. Whichever way I mix it though, it’s hard to deny they’ve been a bit of a revelation over the opening 3 rounds of the league.

It certainly is nice to see a team playing a good, passing style of football while breaking down some of the A-League’s stingiest defenses. Plus, I’m almost more interested in what Miron while come out with at the press conference after the match - the league needs more characters like this.
