Australia’s draw for the final stage of World Cup 2010 Qualification has been revealed. The Socceroos will play in Group A along with Japan, Uzbekistan, Qatar and Bahrain.

All in all, not a bad draw - Australia have avoided tricky away trips to Pyongyang and Riyadh, although the away trip to Tashkent, Uzbekistan shapes as potentially tricky. There will also be a repeat of this year’s “Super June,” with the last three matches played in quick succession in June 2009, ending with a mouth-watering Home clash with Japan.
