After all the rumor and speculation, it’s finally official - Nicky Carle will be Sydney FC’s Marquee player this upcoming season, committing to a 3-year deal at 16:00 today.

While we’re still waiting for confirmation of the rumored four team tournament featuring Sydney, Boca Juniors, Rangers and Blackburn, there have been some encouraging signs lately.
The Rangers website has confirmed that the team will be in Australia for 3 matches in July. Boca Juniors have also been confirmed as playing Melbourne Victory on the 16th [...]

Sydney FC will open their pre-season campaign for the 2010/11 season by playing Macarthur Rams at Campbelltown Stadium on June 22nd. This follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the club and the Macarthur District association
