The poor quality emergency toilet paper masquerading as a newspaper, Sydney’s trashy Daily Telegraph, has managed to hit a new low. According to the article, Sydney FC’s crowd last weekend was inflated by approximately 2000. They’ve actually sat down and attempted to do a head count from video footage of the stadium - are these [...]

After being able to throw a handkerchief over the field for much of the opening rounds, it appears there’s finally a bit of a break on at the top of the A-League ladder. Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast have established a little bit of a buffer at the top with Perth and Central Coast perhaps [...]

Pretty decent win by Sydney today to go back to the top of the ladder (with a little help from Wellington - who somehow knocked off Gold Coast to the tune of 6-0!). Bit of a shocking start with the team struggling to get forward at all but after 20 minutes or so it really [...]

NSW has won the final of the CLT20 after some excellent bowling and fielding dismissed Trinidad & Tobago for 118 in the 16th over. Pollard again looked the danger man but was well caught in the outer off Hauritz. Pretty good recovery, especially considering the Blues were looking like struggling to make 100 before Brett [...]

Congratulations go out to the NSW Blues Twenty20 side, who last night qualified for the final of the inaugural Champions League Twenty20 Tournament in India. Quite odd that it wound up being an all-Australian affair, with last years domestic runners-up, Victoria, again coming up short. Not as close as the final in Sydney last year [...]

Wow! What a result! Sydney FC really brought their best to Melbourne tonight, three lovely first-half goals (all in the space of 6 or so minutes) blew away the home team. Tremendous effort by the team all round, Bridge and Brosque quite spectacular. First place on the table for another week, now with the added [...]

Buy Star Ocean: The Last Hope International
As I hit the 35 hour mark in Star Ocean: The Last Hope, I’d like to update my earlier thoughts on the game. In short, I’m absolutely loving it at the moment. The occasional long trek minus save points still grates - on one occasion a save point only [...]

With a 1-0 over neighbors Central Coast - and following draws for top spot rivals Gold Coast and Perth - Sydney FC went clear top of the table after round 9. Probably too soon to get excited (although I am) as this Friday night is the first of the traditional grudge matches against Melbourne Victory. [...]
