Nicely done, Aussies! I expected a decent win, but they really blew the Qataris away last night, 4-0 was probably a little flattering to the away side with the amazing amount of possession the Socceroos had. It was also one of the better passing displays I’ve seen from the National Team in a long time. [...]

A couple games I’ve been eagerly anticipating, along with another two that I’ve been putting off purchasing for various reasons. Now they’re all sitting there in shrink-wrap, just waiting to be played. Rather poor timing really, given that this years Holiday spend-fest period has such a wonderful looking release schedule. Just off the top of [...]

Nice work by Adelaide United last night, knocking off Uzbekistan’s Kuruvchi FC in front of a sellout crowd of 16,998. The match finished 3-0, with all three goals coming in the second half - despite Adelaide struggling at various points in the match - and the Reds will now travel to Tashkent with a huge [...]

It was good to see Sydney kick off the new National Youth league with a win on Saturday afternoon. Even more pleasing was the crowds response to the match — goals were celebrated with a roar, fans groaned as one as the ball skimmed the bar and so on.

Quite the diverse squad, I’d hate to be the poor bugger organizing flights for everyone. The squad will be further cut to 18 for the match — it will certainly be interesting to see the final mix Verbeek puts together; I’d imagine most of the A-League players remaining will go. Probably the most interesting battle [...]

From the Mega-CD to the Saturn and finally to the PlayStation, GameArts’ classic RPG is a multi-platform RPG that shouldn’t be missed.

It was quite a spin to watch Aaron Rodgers thrown into tight coverage for a TD reception by Greg Jennings in the tight loss to Atlanta on the weekend — not just for the Favre-like play but for the reaction immediately following: it was almost as if he was channeling his predecessor. Still early days [...]

After a season featuring crowds that can best be described as "small but vocal", I’m starting to wonder if the question isn’t so much When will but simply Will the crowds return?
It’s been a strong start to the season by Sydney FC, plenty of goals, currently second on the ladder and only one defeat in [...]

Some nice looking titles for the Wii have been announced at Nintendo Conference. Most are only confirmed for Japan at the moment, but here’s hoping. Nice to see Klonoa make a comeback and I’m particularly excited about Another Code (Trace Memory) and Rune Factory. Oh, and Haruhi <3
